"The boarding and "doggie daycare" services at Adirondack Pet Lodge can be described as nothing short of stellar! The physical facility is clean and inviting, while the staff shine as caring, knowledgeable professionals. We are pawrents of Déjà, a 2 year old mischievous Shiba Inu, and Morgan, a one year old adorable, deaf mixed breed. It was very difficult to leave them when we set sail for our first vacation after having them join our family, however, we soon learned that any misgivings were totally unfounded. Déjà was feeling a little under the weather when we had to depart - which of course added to our stress. The staff at Adirondack Pet Lodge could not have been more attentive to both her needs and OURS! Her condition did ultimately require a veterinarian visit, and she was brought to her usual veterinarian. We were asked for our input and kept informed every step of the way -- including texts and pictures of her trip to the veterinary clinic! Déjà was back to good health in a day, and we were grateful that the folks at Adirondack Pet Lodge went above and beyond by showing our pup compassion and concern like she was their own! We have found that the daycare program at Adirondack Pet Lodge is a fantastic way to insure our four legged family members receive a fun workout and sharpen their social skills, too. All of the canine participants are closely monitored by staff, who exhibit an uncanny ability to focus on the individual needs of the many in their care. The Adirondack Pet Lodge staff have even learned the signs we use to communicate with Morgan! They are always willing to share a story about how the day went, which has been integral to us learning more about how our dogs interact in a social environment. Our questions and requests for training suggestions are always met with enthusiasm and wonderfully constructive advice. An added benefit of daycare is that when it does come time to board, our pups are already in familiar territory. Adirondack Pet Lodge is a fun, safe, professional and kind place for your canine companion when not snuggled up with you at home. We can't shout our accolades for the care they provide loud enough! Thanks, Adirondack Pet Lodge, for giving us peace of mind, and a fun setting for our furry family members to learn and grow."
